The scariest part of solo travel was making the decision. And that fear didn’t disappear after I stepped off the plane and found myself immersed in the Mediterranean heat.

Surely I would have been disappointed by now if I hadn’t made this choice?

From self-doubt to safety concerns, solo travel has its challenges. Although my heart knew what it wanted, my head anticipated too many risks to say yes.

Until I realised that I am anything but alone. So many people have already navigated these concerns or faced the same questions. Thanks to others sharing their insights and experiences, I managed to say yes, and I felt far more comfortable in that decision than I would have otherwise.
